Princess Charlotte stole the show on her first official royal engagement

Adorable Princess Charlotte stole the show on her first official royal engagement when she attended a garden party alongside her brother Prince George.
The royal infants, along with their parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, joined 24 children of Canadian military families for a party in the grounds of British Columbia's Government House where they are staying for their week-long tour of Canada.
All eyes were on Princess who was seen walking for the first time as made a beeline for a petting zoo that included a goat, horses, sheep, quails and a black and white rabbit.
She also showed a strong interest in balloons, hugging them as her parents watched on.
At one point she faced another little girl with a yellow balloon and reached out for it but the girl put it behind her back.
"Would you like a balloon Charlotte?" Prince William asked his daughter before picking her up.
She talked about bath time and how she [Charlotte] is always hungry."
Lucas said about George: "He was definitely into the bubbles. It as much more intimate than I anticipate.
"It wasn't about the Duke and Duchess coming down the stairs. It was nice to see they have kids that are like all our kids, down to earth and interacting. It didn't feel scripted at all."

Andrea added: "I think they're really enjoying their time here. They said it was fabulous."
Andrew Matheson, 35, a submariner on HMCS Victoria added: "It was a bit surreal at first, it's not too often you get to royalty you only see in the media.
"But at the heart, they're parents. We talked about the challenges they have of being on a tight schedule and juggling children and how you're always on edge because you always have one eye on the kids. They said they were loving their time in Victoria."
While Prince William and Kate have carried out engagements in Vancouver, Kelowna and the Yukon, their children have been looked after by their nanny Maria Borrallo and even reportedly enjoyed a secret trip to the petting zoo.
They were apparently taken to the Beacon Hill Children's Farm while mum and dad headed for a night away in the old gold rush town of Whitehorse in the Yukon.
The trip was not supposed to have been made public but Victoria Tourism tweeted the pint-sized royals' secret escape, although they were later asked to delete the tweet.
